Many people ask why their prayers for others are answered while they don’t see answers to the prayers they make for themselves.
They also wonder why they are always there for others but noone is there for them.
*The Answer is simple, you are Chosen by God but NOT FOR YOURSELF.*
God did not choose you to go around boasting about being chosen.
In Matthew 20:26 Jesus says … “It is not so amongst you, but whoever will be great amongst you must be a servant”
Let’s make this clear, you’re not anointed for yourself. When God anoints you, it is not for your benefit. If it were you would focus on yourself and forget what you’re anointed for.
For Example Elijah, the great prophet in the Bible. He healed the sick, raised the dead, performed other Miracles, however HE DIED BECAUSE OF SICKNESS.
Even after his death his bones could still raise the dead. The Anointing that was upon him was not for himself but for others.
The Holy Spirit resurrected Jesus after he was crucified serving others.
And even though you often suffer and may even die for the faith if he the Holy Spirit lives in you, he will resurrect your mortal bodies also.
Therefore you must understand that you’re not anointed for yourself but for others.
The Reason why the Enemy is always fighting you is because he doesn’t care about you, *HE CARES ABOUT THOSE WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM YOUR ANOINTING.*
You’re a Chosen watchman, and if you fulfil your destiny your generation will work in the light of God.
