TRANSFORMATION is an internal change in character and thinking. This is achieved through the renewal of the mind, which means developing new ideals and a new attitude.
*THINK LESS or THINK RIGHT? * PART 23 of *I BELIEVE IN GOD vs I OBEY GOD | TO CHURCH vs TO GOD*
When the ROOT changes, the FRUIT changes. When the SOURCE changes, the STREAM changes.
*The Power of Controling Your THOUGHTS*
Your mind is always meditating on something. YOU CANNOT SILENCE YOUR MIND BY FORCE. You have to feed it something different.
*PEACE DOESN’T COME FROM CONTROL. IT COMES FROM FOCUSING ON THE RIGHT THING*
*Philippians 4:8* encourages believers to focus their thoughts on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy.
This Bible verse is a call to cultivate a positive and virtuous thought life, suggesting that actively choosing what to think about can lead to a more virtuous and peaceful state of mind.
When the VOICE you feed yourself becomes GOD’S VOICE, your mind stops being a war zone and becomes a construction site.
*STOP TRYING TO MANAGE THE STORM. CHANGE THE WEATHER SYSTEM INSTEAD*
Romans 12:2 is a Bible verse that encourages believers not to conform to the patterns of the world, but to be transformed by the renewing of their minds.
This renewal allows them to understand and approve of God’s will, which is described as good, acceptable, and perfect.
The verse emphasizes internal change and a transformed way of thinking rather than external behavioral conformity.
CONFORMITY is doing what everyone else is doing regardless of what is right, while BIBLICAL OBEDIENCE is doing what is right regardless of what everyone else is doing.
*Do not conform:* This part of the verse is a call to resist adopting the superficial customs and attitudes of the world, which are external and temporary.
*Be transformed:* In contrast to conformity, transformation is an internal change in character and thinking. This is achieved through the renewal of the mind, which means developing new ideals and a new attitude.
*By the renewing of your mind:* This is the process by which the transformation happens. It involves changing one’s thoughts and beliefs to align with God’s truth and will.
*You may discern:* As a result of this inner transformation, one can test and understand what God’s will is for their life.
*What is good and acceptable and perfect:* This describes the nature of God’s will. It is not something that must be forced or just followed out of obligation; it is inherently good and perfect.
