… PME Angels are Our Kids In Christ Jesus! If your Kids can understand cartoons then they can understand *God’s Word* so What’s your plan for their Spiritual Growth in Christ?
Welcome To PME Angels
The fundamental goal for Christian parents should be to guide their children to a saving faith in Christ and to set them on a path to maturity, bringing them to the full measure of his glory (Eph 4:13).
The Bible calls parents to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” in Proverbs 22:6. What does it mean to “train up your children?” Does it simply mean to discipline your children, or is it more than that?
The Seed IS NOT the Problem, The SOIL IS | Parable Of The Sower
Matthew 13:22 says, “As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful”.
*REMEMBER: The SEED is the word of God(GOSPEL), NOT your money. The SOIL is the kind of Heart*
The message of God can be choked by worldly concerns. The meaning is that people who hear God’s word may be distracted by the worries of life and the lure of wealth, causing them to abandon the message and produce no fruit.
BUT KIDS ARE YOUNG, INNOCENT AND HAVE A TENDER HEART WHICH GOD LOVES ❤️
Matthew 13:23 says, “But the one sown on the good soil is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty”.
Even if you refuse to Evangelise to others for whatever reason, how about your own children you raised from birth?
If you train up a child the right way from birth and the child also watches *Your Character* as a backup to the Biblical image of Jesus Christ, then how would he or she depart when they get older?
Teach Your Children Biblical Traditions and Principles
Parenting is one of God’s most important callings. *Children* are the Leaders of *Tomorrow* Like King David, A Good leader persistently turns to God for direction. The best leadership, ultimately belongs to God.
Many so-called Christians have children that are into Fraud, Prostitution, Witchcraft, and Cultistism. Some parents are into it themselves while holding church leadership positions.
Some parents even initiated their own children while also taking them to church every Sunday.
Parents, love your children by modeling what is right and wrong, listening to them, discipline them, and showing them how to serve others.
*Whether you’re a Doctor, Teacher, Student, Receptionist, Lawyer, stay at Home parent, working 3 Jobs or working just 1 job, WE ARE ALL CALLED TO MINISTRY.* To Evangelism. So start with your children.
A popular saying goes like this … “charity begins at home”. Start setting the right moral standards within your family from a very young age, when the heart is still tender. So when they child gets older they can CHOOSE WISELY. Yes, it’s their Choice after a certain age. Everyone has freewill.
Take the Lead Spiritually in Your Home
Parents are to be the primary spiritual influence in the life of their children. Practicing things like family worship, talking about God’s creation and how he is working, and pointing them towards God’s promises in the everyday moments of life are a great way to start.
Don’t compare your life to others …There is no comparison between the *Sun* and the *Moon* …They Shine when *it’s their time!*
Are you the sheep that’s gone astray? God loves you too much to leave you to your compromise.
The *Holy Spirit* is more *Patient* than you’re *Stubborn*
More *Loving* than you’re *Flawed*
You haven’t gone too far. Your mess isn’t too big. Like the shepherd who goes after the one, the Holy Spirit is pursuing *YOU* !
What Do You Think?
If a man owns 100 sheep and 1 wanders aways would he leave the 99 and go after the one that went astray?
(Matthew 18: 12-13)
And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the 99 that did not wander.
How do Christians raise their children in a godly way?
Raising godly children is a bit more complicated than disciplining them. Parents are called to love their children, listen to them, show them right and wrong, and lead them in their walk with Christ by example.
The following goes over the ways Christian parents should raise their children.
1. Lead by example
2. Show them critical thinking skills
3. Teach them how to love by loving them unconditionally
4. Help them serve others
5. Share your faith with them through scripture
6. Pray with them
7. Allow them to have their own faith
1) Lead by example
The strongest way parents can keep God’s word is by leading their children by example. It is a well-known fact that children learn through observation of others, oftentimes their parents.
Your children will learn what you model for them. So, if you want your child to have a strong relationship with God, you need to also have a strong relationship with God.
2) Show them critical thinking skills
One of the best ways to train your children for the world is to teach them critical thinking skills. We as Christians are meant to meditate on scripture, seek truth, and love.
These are the values and actions we must teach our children so they will be equipped for the world. Some ways to do this are to study scripture together, have conversations with them about right and wrong, and allow them to think for themselves.
To have these conversations, there has to be an established trust between you and your child. How do you do this as a parent? To us, trust comes hand in hand with unconditional love.
3) Teach them how to love by loving them unconditionally
Parents, just as our children learn by example, so do we. When it comes to loving our children, we should love unconditionally as God loves us unconditionally. What does this look like in practice though? It is loving your child with no strings attached.
There is nothing they can do to lose your love. This doesn’t mean you do not discipline your child, but it does mean you do not withhold your love because of something they did or said.
With your child knows you have this unconditional love for them, it forges a trust between you and them. That trust allows you to have a good relationship with your kids and allows them to feel safe and loved in your household.
4) Help them serve others
Raising your children in a godly way includes helping them serve others. In Matthew 5:42, the Bible calls us to, “Give to those who ask of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.” We are also called to care for the poor, sick, and needy, not sit at home away from the masses.
These are the values and principles that need to be passed on to our children. Take your child to serving opportunities like working in a soup kitchen, cleaning up after a parade, or even helping your neighbor with a task. This helps your children learn how Jesus lived, and the importance of helping others.
5) Share your faith with them through scripture
Studying scripture with your child helps them know what the story of Jesus is, how much God loves us, and how to live our lives.
Reading the scripture with your child gives them access to it. Sharing Bible stories with your kids can help guide them as they age. As Psalm 119:11 says, “I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You.”
6) Pray with them
Teach your children how to pray by praying with them. Sit down with them every day, and pray with them about their lives and your loved ones’ lives.
Pray favor over them in their lives, and that God will show His love to your children every day. Including your children in these prayers can help them learn about God’s nature.
7) Allow them to have their own faith
This is the most important piece of advice we can give you. If you want your children to have a strong faith in God, you have to let them grow it themselves.
Let them ask questions and make the decision to follow Christ by themselves. It is not a decision to be made lightly and has to be done willingly.
The best we can do as parents is to show them what a good relationship with Christ looks like.
Bonus Tip: Love them through their doubts
Every person experiences insecurity in their walk with Christ. It is a normal part of the Christian life. Your job as a parent is to love your child even when they are in the midst of these doubts.
Don’t be upset if they are expressing their doubts to you about their faith.
Talk to them in love to help them work through these doubts. Then let them come to their own conclusions. No one has ever been strong-armed into an authentic relationship with Christ.
The current era is one of grace. Offering everyone the choice to embrace the salvation provided by Christ.
The Bible says we have to examine ourselves. 2 Corinthians 13 vs 5 says “Examing yourself to see whether you’re in the faith”.
Test yourself, or do you not realise this about yourself? That Jesus Christ is in you unless indeed you fail to make the test.
Jesus says in Mark 8 vs 36, “For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeit his soul”
IS THE HOLY SPIRIT GOD?
If anyone ever asked you how you know that the Holy Spirit is God, here’s how you can explain it to them:
1. The Holy Spirit is Omnipresent.
“Where can I go from your Spirit, where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens you are there. If I make my bed in the depths you’re there.”
(Psalm 139 vs 7 & 8)
2. The Holy Spirit is Omniscient
(1 Corinthians 2 vs 10-11)
“But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own Spirit, and no one can know God’s thought except God’s own spirit.”
3. The Holy Spirit’s power is equated with the power of the “Most High” Thus the Holy Spirit is omnipotent. (Luke 1:35)
The Angel replied “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the most high will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be Holy and he will be called the Son Of God”.
The Holy Spirit is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent therefore THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD.
The Holy Spirit is more committed to a friendship with you than you are committed to a friendship with him.
He’ll be with you to help you be a good husband or a good wife, a good parent, a good worker, a good student, a good Christian, a good friend.
The Holy Spirit is there empowering us unto both the Supernatural and the Practical
He of course will course his power to flow through you so that you can see Healing Miracles, Deliverance, Salvation, and many different manifestations of his power.
But he’ll also be there empowering you to do the practical everyday things that Christians ought to do in their everyday life.
When you give from that friendship with the precious Holy Spirit, there is this fire that burns in your heart that never dies.
It is that fire of Love For Jesus. The Holy Spirit causes that fire to burn so that you’re not just trying to make it through the day, so that you’re not just barely hanging on, so that you’re not on your last ounce of strength serving begrudgingly with reservation, looking for a way out.
But instead you’re serving wholeheartedly, you’re living Holy with Joy, you’re serving in the ministry with Joy, and with peace, and with the Divine Energetic Vitality.
HOW CAN WE AS CHRISTIANS RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT?
You received the Holy Spirit the very moment you became Born Again (Romans 8:9, John 3:6). HE DWELLS WITHIN YOU The same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of you.
There is no such thing as a “Baby Holy Spirit” or a “New Convert Version” and God doesn’t give the Holy Spirit in portions.
The Holy Spirit isn’t a reward for Good Christianity … HE IS THE ONLY CHANCE YOU HAVE TO LIVE OUT GOOD CHRISTIANITY. He’s your helper.
SO HOW DOES ONE WALK IN A WAY THAT HE CAN EXPERIENCE THE BENEFITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?
(Galatians 5:6) The Bible teaches us to let the Holy Spirit guide our lives.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is both an event and a lifestyle. BOTH A WELL AND A RIVER.
And Salvation HE fills us like water in a cup. Throughout our lives he fills us like wind in a sail continually.
So the question isn’t how do I get the Holy Spirit? IT IS … How does the Holy Spirit get me?
A LIFE OF YIELDED SURRENDER WILL ALLOW YOU TO EXPERIENCE THE FRUITS OF THAT WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN PLANTED WITHIN YOU
*Friendship* with the Holy Spirit will help your to *Pray* more *Powerfully* , *Love* more *Truly* , *Live* more *Holy* , *Know The Word* more *Deeply* , *Evangelise* more *Boldly* and *Live* more *Godly.*
Such simple yet so life transforming. The Holy Spirit wants to fellowship with you. The Holy Spirit wants a friendship with you.
I can Boldly say THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT WANTS A FRIENDSHIP WITH YOU MORE THAN YOU WANT A FRIENDSHIP WITH HIM.
It is not the Inheritance you leave to your Children that makes them great. It is what you leave IN THEM!
If you leave enough IN THEM you don’t have to leave so much inheritance FOR THEM because they can go out there and get whatever they want. BUT If you leave alot FOR THEM and not alot IN THEM they would waste all the inheritance!
*Guard* your *eyes* and you’d guard your *Future* *Guard* your *ears* and you’d guard your *Heart* Don’t allow Venoms to enter you.
If you look at negative things you will stop your ability to see visions of the future. Your dreams for the future will be shattered. This is why it is important to meditate on things that are good and are of good report.
If you listen to negative things your heart will be poisoned, your faith will be shaken and you will not have the ability to chase after things when things become difficult.
