The Carnal Christian also known as a FLESHLY Christian as mentioned in *1st Corinthians 3* continue to live according to their Sinful nature despite professing faith in Christ.
They may desire or indulge in worldly desires causing Divisions and Strife as highlighted in *1st Corinthians 3:1-3.*
It is important to know that Christians can struggle with CARNALITY temporarily reverting to their old ways of living according to the Flesh. However true Believers will ultimately Repent and return to Christ as demonstrated by King David’s Repentance in the Scriptures.
*THERE IS A DISTINCTION BETWEEN SINCERE BELIEVERS WHO STUMBLE AND REPENT AND FLESHLY CHRISTIANS WHO CONTINUE IN SIN WITHOUT REPENTANCE*
The latter group may falsely claim to be Christians but demonstrate no evidence of spiritual transformation. While Christians may experience periods of spiritual weakness but will show *Repentance*
The concept of a freshly Christian is significant according to *John 3:3* Only those reborn in Christ will inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Being born again or born of God means receiving new spiritual life through God’s spirit dwelling within us when we accept Christ.
This new nature enables us to worship God in Spirit and in Truth as emphasised in *John 4: 23-24.*
Without God’s spirit dwelling within us we CANNOT claim to be true Christians according to *Romans 8:9.*
