Sin Is One Of The Devil’s Sharpest Weapons. It Steals Your Peace. It Kills Your Integrity. It Destroys Your Joy. It Makes Grand Promises But Leaves Nothing Behind Except Brokenness And Sorrow.
TOPIC: *STOP CHEATING ON GOD -The More We Sin, The Sadder We Become*
CIC81: *CELEBRITY IN CHRIST EPISODE 81*
Many professing Christians want Christ while they still date the devil. You can not hold on to Jesus with one hand and the world with the other.
*They want salvation without obedience.*
*They want grace without repentance.*
*They want Jesus while still holding hands with sin and the world.*
When Jesus tells them to stop sinning, they answer:
“We all sin.”
“He understands.”
“God will forgive me.”
But God’s grace does not give you permission to continue doing what He commanded you to stop doing.
Jesus showed mercy to sinners, but He also commanded them to leave their sin behind (John 8:11, 5:14).
Grace is not permission to remain in rebellion. Being under grace does not mean you can continue in the sins Christ came to deliver you from (Romans 6:1–2).
The grace that truly saves someone teaches them to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live soberly, righteously, and godly (Titus 2:11–12).
If you do not live holy, you will not see the Lord and will fail God’s grace (Hebrews 12:14–15).
You can not claim to follow God while loving and following the sinful ways of the world.
Friendship with the world makes you God’s enemy (James 4:4).
*The world wants your loyalty.*
*Sin wants your loyalty.*
*Jesus demands your loyalty.*
You can not serve both.
At some point, you have to choose your master. *Will you follow Jesus in holiness or follow the devil in sin?*
Stop using God’s love, mercy, and grace to justify what He commanded you to forsake.
*Let go of the world.*
*Let go of sin.*
*Obey Christ.*
Follow Jesus completely. The More We Sin, The Sadder We Become.
Sin Never Arrives Wearing Chains. It Comes Wearing A Smile. It Promises Excitement But Delivers Emptiness. It Whispers Freedom But Quietly Builds A Prison Around Your Heart.
Every Time You Feed Sin, You Starve Your Peace. Every Time You Entertain Temptation, You Strengthen The Very Thing That Wants To Destroy Your Joy.
The Pleasure Is Temporary, But The Wounds Can Last For Years. Many Laugh While Wearing The Mask Of Sin, Yet They Cry Alone When No One Is Watching.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8 kjv
Sin Is Never Your Friend. It Is A Merciless Master That Never Stops Demanding More. It Never Says Enough.
It Wants More Of Your Mind, More Of Your Heart, More Of Your Time, More Of Your Purity, More Of Your Relationships, Until There Is Nothing Left But Regret.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12 kjv
The Most Dangerous Path Is Not Always The One That Looks Evil. It Is The One That Feels Right While Quietly Pulling You Toward Destruction.
Sin Loves To Hide Its Hook Behind Attractive Bait. By The Time You Feel The Pain, You Are Already Caught.
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7 kjv
Every Secret Choice Plants A Seed. Every Habit Grows Roots. Every Compromise Produces Fruit. If You Plant Sin, Do Not Expect Peace.
If You Feed Darkness, Do Not Expect Light. The Harvest Always Arrives, Whether You Want It Or Not.
The Devil Does Not Need To Destroy You In One Day. He Only Needs You To Keep Saying Just One More Time. One More Click. One More Drink. One More Lie. One More Night.
One More Secret. Until One Day You Look Back And Realize You Have Become Someone You Never Intended To Be.
“Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation, the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 kjv
Temptation Does Not Knock To Be Polite. It Knocks To Conquer. Your Flesh Can Never Be Trusted To Play With Sin And Walk Away Unburned. Fire Does Not Respect Confidence. Neither Does Temptation.
“Flee also youthful lusts but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
2 Timothy 2:22 kjv
The Strongest Person Is Not The One Who Stands Close To Temptation. The Strongest Person Is The One Wise Enough To Run Before Sin Has The Opportunity To Tighten Its Grip.
The Saddest People Are Often Not Those Who Have Nothing. They Are Those Who Chased Every Sin They Thought Would Make Them Happy, Only To Discover That Sin Cannot Fill The Emptiness It Creates.
*Sin Sells Pleasure By The Minute But Charges Regret For A Lifetime.*
“The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy.” John 10:10 kjv
Sin Is One Of The Devil’s Sharpest Weapons. It Steals Your Peace. It Kills Your Integrity. It Destroys Your Joy. It Makes Grand Promises But Leaves Nothing Behind Except Brokenness And Sorrow.
The More We Wear The Mask Of Sin, The Less We Recognize The Person Looking Back In The Mirror. The Smile Becomes Fake. The Joy Becomes Empty. The Heart Becomes Heavy.
And The Tears Become Real. Sin Never Makes Anyone Better. It Only Makes The Chains Heavier And The Soul Sadder.
